Oh man, this team needs Viciedo so bad that it's not even funny.

Well that excitement ended quickly

We gotta spread our excitement around a little bit.

Beckham should only face curveball pitchers. Having him face fastball throwing pitchers is a bad idea. Our second best fastball hitting player can also play 2b

First 2 IP pitched = 51 pitches

Next 4 1/3 IP pitched = 50 pitches.

How predictable was tonight? Hudson kicks our ass, minus our one true hitting pro, Paulie.

Arizona lead off hitter has more Ks than Adam Dunn!

I'd rather have Vizquel in there than Beckham, but Lillibridge deserves a chance.

Still would prefer it be in CF or LF if Viciedo won't ever be utilized.

is that 2 runs in 3 days?

Credit to this board as the reaction to getting dominated by Hudson was a lot less intense than was to be expected

I really don't want Viciedo up until Walker gets fired....no need for him to kill another swing

That's 2 runs this week.

I think our offense got screwed with that off day and the postponed game

our offense has been screwed since the second game of the season

It's an embarrassment, but as Greg and others have suggested, it was entirely predictable.

Seems like there's this template for EJax starts

Awful early, settles in nicely

nobody even bothers to complain about walker anymore

Wow. I mean I know he is a good hitting pitcher, but really?

may as well be 13

Man, Hudson really is a pretty good hitter.

I think it's the "apathy" stage after losing our momentum to the Twins, Friday night, late start in Chicago....

We've had more "fiery" argument at this board in the last week than the team has exhibited any semblance of vital signs.

There's just not much emotion left to give when the expected happens...tip your cap, haha.

And Hudson with the emphatic finishing off of the match-up with Jackson.

And there is the RBI to the pitcher we traded away on the last guy Jackson was going to pitch to.

Sigh.

It was screwed in spring training, but everyone said "don't worry, these games don't mean anything".

s*** I'd take Hudson in the lineup every day as a hitter over Rios, Juan and Dunn.

The man can hit.

Wow even you're losing your optimism !

too embarrassing for words.

i guess you have to have a degree from stanford to explain why this guy wasn't good enough to pitch for the Sox -- at close to league minimum.

Too many jokes can be made about Hudson getting a hit there.
