Win for a 6-1 road trip. I'll take it.

Just score some runs for Mark.

Just throw the dh out the window and let Mark hit, this will be his 2nd year in the last 3 leading the team in ops. :)

Have the Orioles announced a starter yet?

Yeah, Chris Tillman.

What happened to Tillman?

Same thing that happened to Arrieta and most of their pitching propects. Remember Mazzone's reputation? He didn't have much luck fixing any of them, did he? Bedard was about the only good hurler they had.

Which team is the Angry Birds? Cardinals after this week?

Maybe Dunn can hit Tillman? Regardless a win will be super and 6-1 on the road trip is OK too

Dunn couldn't hit water if he fell out of a f*cking boat.

Tillman has been pitching well lately. I think the Sox will have trouble with him tonight...

20 years ago today, Wilson Alvarez threw a no-hitter at Baltimore.

I'll take Buehrle's 3rd no-hitter tonight, and will accept nothing less.

Dunn couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a handful of rice.

Dunn couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a bass fiddle. :lolhitting

As the Orioles emptied out of the dugout and jogged to home plate to meet Nolan Reimold, whose two-run homer in the 10th inning off Jason Frasor had just given the home team a 6-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox, Adam Jones was in the back of the scrum barking at the visitor's dugout at Camden Yards.

"Just me and Ozzie," Jones said when asked about what started the conversation. "Him and I go back to forth. It’s part of the competition." Asked about the severity of the conversation, Jones said: "We’ll see in a couple of days. I’m protecting myself and protecting my team. He’s protecting himself and his team. It’s part of the game."

Thank goodness no Omar.

Dunn is hitting where he should (I mean if he has to play at all).

Too bad Ozzie won't bench Rios and play DeAza. Sad.

Edited by greg775

Probably because for the last week Rios has been the most explosive hitter on the Sox.

Greg, you're six days too late with the Rios comment.

Although it sure would be nice if he knew how to bunt...not that Dunn or Beckham would have driven the runs in during the 8th.

Rios can bunt, Im just pretty sure Ozzie thought that the best chance to score a run was Rios hitting. And I agree with that.

Omar is still a solid glove and bat. He might have just had a bad day or is rusty since he's a utility player for the most part. Now Dunn on the other hand... he's just useless on defense and offense. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. THE SOX have won fine without his "contributions".

Bench him! Bench him!

I don't care how much money these clowns make. If you don't perform you don't play. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Omar is absolutely terrible with the bat. Provides nothing productive at the plate.

How can you justify Adam Dunn in any lineup outside of Williamsport, PA.

Seriously, are we trying to win the division or not?

He doesn't get to play enough. Not saying he should. He was batting something like .270 ish last year. He knows how to hit. I remember he hit a triple sometime this year, how many triples do the SOX have this year? He moved Pierre into 3rd for the first run last night did he not? Could you trust ARAM2 with that task in the 2 hole?

I'd say you are concentrating on the negatives too much. OV is a decent bat.
