This is the worst game thread I've ever been a part of.

I say it every night, but Beckham is just a disgrace of a player in the clutch.

If the National League is that much inferior we should do them a favor and trade Rios/Becks and Dunn to the NL.

Oh wait, two of the three are untradeable cause we're paying them so much.

I look forward to call-ups and see what Kuhn's got...but then again...the school of thought of keeping him as far away from Walker as you can has merit.

Some of these guys need to get their ass out of bed in the morning and go to the cages.

Indians fan?

Realist...

Flowers is basically our 2nd best hitter at this point.

It's amazing what happens when some young guys get to actually, you know, come to the major leagues.

In the same vein, I am absolutely convinced that if Dayan Viciedo were in this lineup, the effect on the rest of the team would be dramatic. The ball just jumps off his bat, and we sure as hell don't have anyone for whom that could be said, Konerko excepted.

Maybe that's why they haven't brought up Viciedo.

When the Sox play this badly at home again you have to expect it.

We're only halfway decent on the road.

Was that intentional? Sure looked like it.

Its not even that bad of a game either. I hope the sox take it in the 9th.

Couldn't agree more. Same is true about making a deadline deal for some offense. Takes a lot of pressure off of your players who might be tiring.

Meanwhile Lilli sits, a perfect PH in that situation

I dub thee Gordon Fields.

Sometimes I wonder if it's not really Walker as much as these guys just have a low baseball IQ.

Why did Sergio plunk that guy? I can't turn up the sound at work. The pitch was steered right in his back.

We have had enough roster turnover through the last couple of years and the one constant is the coaches.

Team continues to piss down it's leg at home.

I was wondering the same.

He's killing us. That may have been the biggest, saddest out of the season. The ease with which he can be had low and away OR up is scary.

Can we see him, Dunn, Rios, Morel etc. with someone besides Walker???

It was certainly the most recent.

That Rasmus deal looks good now. Maybe his dad could work with them too.
