Exactly, Mauer had no business scoring on that play. He had such a delayed break on the ball. I was shocked to see Alexei that far away from 2nd base too.

3rd time hawk has brought up the fact that 1st base was open w/Mauer up.

I know it's hard to project this, but that Cuddyer grounder was probably a double play if you walk Mauer. Same goes for that Kubel grounder if you walk Cuddyer with open base. Hawk is so pissed at Ozzie, and I'd like to see any of the Ozzie Guillen Kiss Ass Club try to explain his actions tonight.

You know what's comical? Kenny traded Hudson last year cause he didn't want to have to count on a young pitcher during a playoff run. So then, he turns around and trades Jackson for a very unknown commodity in Stewart who ends up pitching in some important games down the stretch of this year.

Are you really making a fair judgement here ? I'm sure you haven't forgotten that Stewart would be in the minors or in long relief for the Sox if not for the injury to Humber.

Guess Cooper hasn't fixed Stewart yet.

Not true, sounds like organization was looking for any reason to limit Humber's innings. Cooper's going to have to make Stewart basically a sinker specialist it seems, which is fine cause it worked well for Garland.

That Hudson trade will haunt him for a long time, especially if Stewart ends up more Marquez/Tony Pena and less Danks/Floyd/Hudson/Gio.
