You're certainly not going to beat Verlander nor anyone else with strikeouts.

Shocked a Soxtalk approved lineup has 3 total bases against Verlander through 5.

That man on the mound is a pitching god.

Do we have a record of a Marty post during the Cowley-Spiegel lovefest? That could prove he's not JoeC.

Otherwise, I'm convinced.

Why the f*** did Oz start Danks?

0-2 and he becomes afraid of the plate.

Oh well, go get em tomorrow!

There's a reason guys spend most of their careers in the minor leagues. The Sox have to win the next 2.

f*** the Tigers. Get 'em tonight!

...And tomorrow...and Sunday!

Well, Detroit does what "good" teams do at home when it's time to put away its rival.

Avoid silly talk of a sweep by kicking the s*** out of the pursuer in Game One of the series. I assume this is a three-game series. So the most Detroit can lose is a game on the Sox if somehow we sweep the next two.

Is the mood of this board finally that unequivocally it's Ova?

Let's knock Verlander out of the game this inning.

It's ova! I even predict them to win the next two but unless they Tigers tank we're floating around 2 or 3rd the rest of the year. Our SP for the past two games s*** themselves when it matter most. Big league pitchers thrive in situations like this. Not our guys. We must start planning for next year.

f*** DETROIT!

Of the teams in the Central, after the Sox, I'd rather see Detroit win, followed by KC, Cleveland, finally the Twins.

Something tells me you're get your wish....

Hard to cheer to the Sox on the victory when I want the manager and gm canned.

Losing all 3 would (will) make it much easier for Jerry to begin finalizing plans to boot the both of them.

The "feud" can't go on any longer. KW and Oz buried themselves and this team is destined to finish just below .500 IMO.

Bury a fastball in this asshole's ribs!

We got this guy Shane Lindsay in the pen now. He's SO wild, we should be able to get in a few beanballs by accident.

8-0, lol

way to show up, guys...

At least this puts one more nail in this boring team's coffin and hopefully ends Ozzie's era as White Sox manager, can't take another year of this s***.

I know, but a lot of people have been holding out hope. I agree with you.

Going to have to chip away. Start by scoring a run! Or getting a hit or walk. lol! Hoping for some bad Det defense.

Maybe they can get Verlander to throw with the other hand.
