4 years for a pitching coach? Jesus, that is like a 10 year deal for a player. That just doesn't happen.

Don Cooper getting a 4 year extension is fantastic. He's been the ace up our sleeve for awhile, now.

I can't see Harold anywhere else.

I like Harold, but it sounds like we'll be getting a younger guy in at manager. We need a veteran bench coach.

I'm sure it is just further proof that Kenny Williams is in over his head by signing such an obviously mediocre pitching coach to a long term deal.

To me, the most exciting part is the hope that a new hitting coach will get some of our core players back on track. For someone like Beckham, next year has to be a make it or break it year and the hitting coach excuse can't be used anymore. Same goes for Dunn...if he struggles next year, he's going to be out of baseball. I'm not saying a hitting coach can save either of these guy's career...but it's worth a try.

 

I hope the new guy wants to give Laker a chance, as he deserves it.

I have no problem with this. Stewart has never spent a full season above AA.

Dylan is one of those guys with very effective stuff that was under the radar like Dan Hudson. Whippy arm action, disappearing breaking ball.
