Dick Allen has made some excellent points in defense of Walker that Soxtalk just dismisses. People around here are quick to praise Cooper for Humber. September 28, 201114 yr What would Martinez bring that Alomar wouldn't? Alomar garners some pretty good respect in the Indians dugout and org from what I can tell. Seems like some of you think he's just gonna come in here and be Kenny's Lackey.

My gut feeling tells me though since we're stuck with a bunch of dead weight like Dunn and Rios...and if we still have veterans like AJ and Paulie around...Alomar would make a bit more sense from my perspective.
September 28, 201114 yr Very glad to see Coop staying. Loved Baines as a player, but still wondering why he had his number retired and not sure what he brings as a coach.
