Because f*** Pink Floyd.

Agreed. Plus the album was more about feeling isolated due to his "rockstardom" than anything about really getting high.

"Little Dealer Boy" - Willie Nelson and Stephen Colbert.

Pretty much everything by Sublime.

I thought of that in the car earlier, but I completely forgot about it by the time I got home.

And how did Comfortably Numb not make it?

It was the next one to be added. What surprised me was the Who didn't really have one that fit. I also left off anything by Sublime because I was thinking classic to give it a little focus. And why wasn't there any Doors or Stones?

Mother's Little Helper is an obvious one there. Possibly my favorite classic song with an overt drug theme.

My favorite drug song by The Stones is Brown Sugar.

Rosetta Stoned

"Third Eye" sounds like it was written while rrrrrreally f***ing high on drugs. See what I did there? "Rosetta Stoned" is just nuts.

You sir...can burn...

My favorite song is not a well known one, it is called "Dirty Blue Balloons" by Failure. The lead singer had gone through a period of time where he was hooked on heroin when he wrote the song.

I mean, who doesn't love songs about raping slaves?

Aw man, you took my joke.

Considering how many people know that song, it's amazing how few actually recognize the lyrics as they're being sung.

I love slave rape. What are you, commies?

You know what they say -- "From each according to his deep 18th century pockets, to each according to his fetishes."

Normal rape is so much fun, I couldn't believe anything could be better. But then I tried slave rape, and let me tell you, you just don't know fun until you've experienced slave rape. Would buy again! A+++++++++++++++++++++

Haha, this thread just got so much more awesome.

"Because I Got High" by Afroman.

To be fair, only the third verse of Brown Sugar is about slave rape. The first two verses are merely about whipping the slave girls and the house boy (also a slave) getting some.
