October 31, 201114 yr We're definitely strong from the right-side. The bullpen as a whole would be a real strength if we held onto Thornton, although I still think he's gone if we get a half-way decent offer for him.

October 31, 201114 yr Thornton is going to have good value this offseason, relatively speaking. There is really no left handed pitching on the open market and he is a mere 1 year removed from being the best lefty in the game. He will have enough value. I don't see him coming back.

If they have Humber and Sale in the rotation, I think they'll need a long reliever that can give 4-5 innings occasionally. I don't think they have that now. I'd like Axelrod on the team next year.

Even if they had saved nearly 4 million with Frasor, there's no way it was going towards the draft.
