March 21, 201610 yr American sports fans are suckers. I'd expect to pay over $100 for a prime playoff game, yet sports fans in Europe freak out and protest over it. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/m...MP=share_btn_tw
March 21, 201610 yr QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 21, 2016 -> 09:03 AM) Tim Howard leaving Everton for Colorado effective July 8. Moronic to spend $2.5+ million on a goalie in MLS.
March 26, 201610 yr I love road WCQ qualifiers in Central America. Always entertaining, yet hard to watch
March 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 09:45 PM) USA in some pretty serious trouble to qualify for the next round now. They will be heavily favored to win both home games and the vacation at St. Vincent so they should be fine. But this leaves them zero room for error.
March 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 10:01 PM) They will be heavily favored to win both home games and the vacation at St. Vincent so they should be fine. But this leaves them zero room for error. Yeah, they'll be fine. They actually started last cycle the same way. Beat Antigua at home, tied at Guatemala and lost at Jamaica in first 3 qualifying games. Still worth noting how awful the team looked.
March 26, 201610 yr Guatemala still has road games at TT and the US. Even if they somehow get a point at TT, they will most likely end up at 10 points. We will be sitting at 10 points going into the final match vs TT. But still Jurgen needs to go. This program has regressed since he's taken over. It's too bad the USSF is run but a bunch of wimps.
March 28, 201610 yr QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Mar 26, 2016 -> 04:46 PM) Pretty cool to see Kane and Dier help England beat Germany. And Alli was MotM, his late miss notwithstanding. Tottenham 2, Leicester 1. COYS, motherf***as.
March 28, 201610 yr QUOTE (3GamesToLove @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 08:39 AM) And Alli was MotM, his late miss notwithstanding. Tottenham 2, Leicester 1. COYS, motherf***as. LOL too bad that wasn't the score in either of the league matches.
March 29, 201610 yr Every game is a must win now though and anything can happen. A loss and we are pretty much doomed.
March 29, 201610 yr QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 11:56 AM) Every game is a must win now though and anything can happen. A loss and we are pretty much doomed. If they lose tonight it's over for the US.
March 29, 201610 yr QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 12:56 PM) Every game is a must win now though and anything can happen. A loss and we are pretty much doomed. They're still fine with a draw, but it's absurd it's gotten to the point where this is even a talking point.
March 29, 201610 yr QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 01:15 PM) They're still fine with a draw, but it's absurd it's gotten to the point where this is even a talking point. We've so easily forgotten that this happened four years ago too. The loss at Jamaica, needing a last minute goal to win at Antigua. It all worked out, and they never lose at home, but this shouldn't keep happening.
March 30, 201610 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 07:34 PM) How did they lose to this team? They really have to change something with their routine for road games. At least the ones in Central America and the Caribbean.
March 30, 201610 yr I don't know if anyone watched the USA U-23s lose to Colombia but that was some downright cowardly officiating. I've never seen a team flop and go down and embellish injuries at any level more than Colombia did tonight and they were consistently rewarded for it in the 2nd half.
March 30, 201610 yr QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 10:55 PM) I don't know if anyone watched the USA U-23s lose to Colombia but that was some downright cowardly officiating. I've never seen a team flop and go down and embellish injuries at any level more than Colombia did tonight and they were consistently rewarded for it in the 2nd half. Agreed. Colombia was so much better than the US regardless though. Disappointing. Not sure how they managed a draw away, but I read they were very much outplayed there too.

I'm not arguing with how Colombia played, but the U.S. got away with two clear stamps that were worthy of red cards. Ref missed both.
April 2, 201610 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 2, 2016 -> 08:26 AM) These Aston Villa fans remind me of the 2014 Bears season. Lol I was thinking the same thing. Can't wait for this Tottenham-Liverpool match at 1130.
April 4, 201610 yr QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 2, 2016 -> 08:30 AM) Lol I was thinking the same thing. Can't wait for this Tottenham-Liverpool match at 1130. That was a great game. Usually a tie at Anfield is good, but they lost more ground. Typical Leicester City game today, it felt like Southampton was always attacking, yet Leicester wins 1-0. It's gonna happen, crazy.
April 4, 201610 yr It's the race to 81 points in the Prem now. Most points Spurs can get is 80, but they have a far larger goal differential than Leicester. If Leicester win 4 of the next 6, they win the league.
