It's all but certain at this point that Ronaiah Tuiasosopo was Lennay, confirming Deadspin's report. The crazy thing is the sheer number of people who seemed to know Ronaiah's game. Tomorrow's revelation will be Ronaiah's motivation and how many people he's duped with his alter-ego Lennay.

I understand that however the dad's information is likely second hand from the son who's embarrassed over the nature of his relationship with this "girl" he's infatuated with but of course that theory is full of holes.

His brother was apparently at her bedside when she died. Teo said he met her several times. He then "told ND" on dec 26 that it was fake yet spoke about it before te BCS title game. That's a lot of lies for no reason if he was really scammed.

well he and ND probably didnt want a huge distraction from the media if he came out saying it was a scam just days before the title game.
