At least Quentin plays hard unlike some members of his former team.

Sad he got hurt. Can never fault his effort.

I will never fault Quentin. He's a good guy and busted his but. That one year where he broke his hand (which sucked cause he couldn't' control his temper) was a hell of a fun year. The guy was a machine that year.

I feel bad for him, but this is why he's gone.

Swift recovery Q, swift recovery.

Shhh....Alex Rios might hear you and be inspired.

By the way, both Scotty Pods and Juan Pierre are fighting for the last bench spot on the Phillies.

So you've got both of those guys and Thome on the same team...will you cheer for them or the Marlins more?

That sound you heard is a head exploding in Kansas

It's a shame this guy can never stay healthy. I'll never have anything bad to say about Q...he always busted his butt and played the game right. He "appreciated the game"....

I can't even remember where CQ is now, what team acquired him.

The disabled list.

Quentin can still comeback. If he somehow stays healthy he might be able to pull out a year like 2008. Seems unlikely but still possible. Dude has been collecting various injuries. He is a 'hit by pitch' magnet when he does play. Lingering injuries and being hit a lot by pitches is not a good combo in baseball.

Looking at this from a White Sox perspective...impersonal (b/c I like TCQ)...we cut ties at the right time. Probably got the most possible out of him. And we didn't overpay. Have to give KW a +1 on this one..from an impersonal baseball business perspective. Just looking at the numbers.

I was a huge CQ fan but this is exactly why we traded him.

And why no one was willing to pay a huge amount to get him.
