Uh-oh....reminds me of that stupid A's game with Pennington, Thornton and Pierre when we had a similar 5-3 record to start 2011.

The thing that made Santiago so successful was his offspeed stuff, and he's completely forgotten about it...or at least AJ's not calling it.

Santiago the fireballer won't work.

Don Cooper thrown out of the game, complaining about the strike zone to Reimold.

lol nice fastball down the middle

The Honeymoon with Santiago is already over haha

Addison Reed for closer.

The way Thornton is dealing he may be next closer.

We need heroics. Got to win the opener against the mediocre O's.

Gameday is showing Santiago being royally screwed by the homeplate ump this inning. At least 3 obvious strikes called for balls.

Cooper he GAWN

He hasn't necessarily been lights out.

I'm starting to like Coop more.

I love the fact he stood up for player and got tossed.

I wish I could've seen Cooper get ejected.

Nice recovery finding his offspeed pitches.

How's the wind tonight?

Hopefully one Sox can lift and pull one out.

You know it's home run or bust.

To the bottom.....come on let's get a run!

No on MT been there, done that!

Maybe one of our lineup black holes can step up and win this game.

So do we have to wait for the lineup to roll over again to have a hero out there, or can The Bridge return to glory?

For as bad as Santiago looked, it's a shame the umpire SCREWED him.

So who's gonna pitch the 10th after Beckham K's?

We knew this time was coming, when he'd blow one.

Everyone relax now :D

Home run or bust is such a helpless feeling. Reminds me of 2000-2004. And other years sprinkled throughout minus 2005, and even then it sometimes felt that way.

Who know's if he even is anymore, but Santiago has got to be/used to be the fastest working Closer in baseball. Just got it and threw it.

1 for the ump. Umpiring has been bad around the league, very inconsistent
