4/18/12 Game Thread - O's @ White Sox

It seems this season AJ finds a spot against a batter and just constantly goes to it over and over....like the variety is seemingly lacking.

Yeah there is....don't throw exclusively fastballs.

The ball was over Chavez' head virtually...Peavy would have been just liable to hang a waste off-speed pitch. Peavy is throwing too many fastballs, but I had no problem with that pitch in particular. That's a swing and miss most of the time.

The 2 guys we can count on are up next...and then its the black hole

0-2 and couldnt put away chavez...

Yeah, Peavy should throw his waste pitch 7 feet in the air, not 6.

AJ my goodness!

AJFP.

Shocker. Paul gets a hit on a guy that made our other hitters look stupid.

PK and AJ are the WHOLE F"N Show. :gosox1:

But if he knows a fastball is coming, he's got an exponentially better chance of hitting it, no matter the location.

The odds of him hitting a hanger are a lot less if all he's seen are fastballs.

Alex with a 6-game hitting streak.

that was a friggin rocket by AJ. Dude's on fire this month...

did we just get 3 consecutive hits ?!!?

Pay the man?

Hell yes

Rios has more CS than SB so far, right?

EDIT: Yep. He is 1 for 4 in SB attempts. Awful.

Rios sucking on the bases.

So does De Aza, right?

Out by an eyelash...

Dunno y Ventura gave him the go to steal, Hunter just had given up 3 straight hits, would have rather just tried a hit and run

"We owe you a station id, we're long overdue"

-Rios caught stealing-

"Lets give you that id while we digest that one"

Farmer is the best.

De Aza is 1 and 1, so, no.

Don't stop now boys!

5 straight base runners. I like that. Would have been another run, is Rios wasn't awful at stealing bases.
