Looked like he got a terrible jump and wasn't exactly running hard.

he's adam dunn. he's not brent lillibridge. paulie would have been dead too.

but who the f*** cares because TIE GAME!

I feel much more confident with hitters who try to go the other way. Rios is making me feel confident because his approach has gotten very contact-oriented.

Weird announcing there, as they didn't acknowledge Rios getting to 3rd for about 10 seconds.

uggghh i knowww people don't want me defending the sox, but how was that, in any way, adam dunn's fault?

I don't think a lot could have been done there...he's just slow. Slow roller to short with the infield back, you have to try and score. I didn't have a big problem with the play.

Rios is money.

The biggest thing is with Konerko hitting, I think Adam assumed once it got past the pitcher that the SS would go for the double play or over to 1st for the sure out.

But it needs to be cleaned up, and I'm sure Ventura will talk to him.

Guess you can only say that Adam didn't have so many chances last year to practice his baserunning skills, lol.

How great was it seeing a Sox hitter adjust to a pitcher throwing everything on the outer half to them?

Really Safeco, Video Killed the Radio Star?

In comes Charlie Furbush

Great work Rivers

Nicely done Fukudome...way to do a job.

Fukudome my man!

Great professional at-bat there by Fukudome, knew he had to get the ball up in the air.

Those Japanese players are so fundamentally skilled in executing in those situations.

Quick check in. This park is awesome.

I'll keep sending the good karma to our boys.

Huh?

Nevermind...you apparently haven't noticed

Short leash on Danksy this inning?

Everyone should be available in the pen, but it would be nice for John to go 6 innings at least

Seriously, would love to know what I missed.

Good comeback.

This is exactly the type of situation Danks aggravates everyone. His offense has given him a lead, if even one runner reaches Ventura has to get that bullpen warmed.

Man what a turn around from last season Alex. Correct me if Im wrong. But he has those on and off years doesnt he?

More like on and off halves. He was amazing in the 1st half of 2010.

danks hold em here and have a chance for a W.

It's Brenden Ryan man...come on. Two walks to him now.

Bleepin leadoff walk.

Morel, 21 K's in 50 AB's, Cespedes 19 in 54.

Don't freakin' walk Ryan to lead off the inning Danks.

Dadgummit, this is ridiculous.

You can argue he didn't deserve to give up at least one of those runs, but you absolutely can't walk the leadoff runner after you take the lead, especially on the road.

Reed warming up.
