I guess referring to me as Joe as many posters have is all done in good fun.

Got no problem with nicknames, but you personally referred to it as "egging a person on". If that's your goal...then quit.

It would be nice to see something good out of Rios...he's had a bad couple of games.

Paulie is good at baseball

lol@ byrd!

hey Rios, it's another RISP....

Ripped that ball but right at the CF.

I referred to it as mocking.

Tough call on rios. Its not like he looks lost up there.

and NADA

Rios got f***ed by that call but hit the ball hard

Because you're parroting the exact same views as a certain someone, so how can we be mocking you, M-34?

Your views are virtually indistinguishable.

Konerko doesn't see the ball get away.

Man 14, you have to get 3rd on that, even if there's 2 down. DV waved you.

5 guys in the order under 200

Sox suck with RISP!

Good pitching by Lester but I'd like to see us come up with something.

consistent failure with RISP this season.

Like last season.

And the season before that.

Alexei had that clutch 2 run double against the A's in the Santiago game 14 inning game, but he's shown almost ZERO XB power this year.

His OPS is below Viciedo's.

The Sox just aren't going to score runs vs. LHP this year.

That was disturbingly close to the wall.

Wow...just knew it was gone after that bat-flip.

It has been consistent with one exception, that miraculous 26-5 run in the middle of 2010.

Other than that, definitely.

Playing better on the road, no home field advantage whatsoever.

Struggling against journeymen, rookies, soft-tossing lefties.

Talented bullpens, but maddeningly inconsistent.

Offense seemingly never clicking all at the same time.

Tons of mental mistakes (Dunn in the 1st, Konerko not advancing)....missed relay men, bad routes, bad baserunning, throwing to the wrong base, missed bunt attempts (see Alexei Ramirez triple play ball in 2011), dropping balls that should be caught (Rios/Pierre/DeAza), etc.

We still look a BIT better in this area than 2011, but not by much. One definite improvement, holding runners and throwing out runners, but even more K's than last year with Dunn, because of Morel/Beckham/Viciedo struggling simultaneously.

I hate soft hits. Feels like the Sox never get them

Get the Hell out of the way Flowers. Paulie is right there calling it.

Not much hope next 3 hitters.

And just wait until Konerko's production starts to revert to the mean. He IS our offense.
