Alejandro is DA DA (De Aza)

Featured Replies

Alejandro, you are doing pretty good. Keep it up boy. Solving one problem. If Beckham keeps this up then you have some protection behind you. If not, you will manage.

DADA LIFE!~

He's a really good player IMO. Hope he can keep it up.

Can we just refer to him as ADA from now on? Not a fan of DA DA. Leadoff hitters who get extra base hits rock!!! :headbang

People need to lay off of Joecool for a while. "DA DA" is by far the worst nickname I've ever come across in my 28 years on earth. Awful.

Maybe this one needs instructions. DA..pause...DA...be sure to stress the second DA. Makes it very dramatic. And the word DA has so many meanings.

How do you like me know? DA....DA

Hard to believe Ozzie opted for JP over this guy last season. Whatever.

Somebody teach this dude to slide, though. 3x in the last week I thought he was injured, including tonight.

DA DA is worse than mine, XBaza, for all of his XB hits (or more for the fact that those extra-base hits remind use a leadoff hitter doesn't have to be a complete punch and judy hitter).

So now Konerko is KoKo?

Give it up man. If you and your circle of friends like it, great, but no one is buying it, no matter the pause, emphasis, or translation.

Lol, a player appreciation thread turns into a hate-on-the-nickname thread before it even rolls over to two pages.

Oh Soxtalk, how I love thee, let me count the ways.....

DeAza is a cool name and it's short, why would he need a Da Da? It's DeAza.

.372 obp

25 runs

How can you not like DA....DA? What else does he have to do. Slide better?

Say what you want about KW but this was a very good and under the radar waiver claim picking up DA

Brilliant. You must work at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.

Ba-De-Boom.

Still not working. But keep trying.

I suppose it can't be any worse than TLB or TBL or whatever Lillibridge was being called. Probably jinxed his decent 2011!

Love that song.

Let's just all take a moment to talk about how great he's doing as the leadoff hitter. No joke, he's quickly becoming my absolute favorite player to watch on this team. If we lose, but this guy gets a couple of hits and scores a run or two...I'm almost satisfied.
