He was composed until Stoney let him know that Samardzija was barking.

He collected himself pretty well though, not getting hung up on it like he does sometimes.

yeah, he snapped when he saw Smarj talking s***.

It's not Dave, is it?

No. Guy I went to HS with is his cousin somewhere in there. Same last name.

Was Samarjia (sp) hit in retaliation?

No

He wasn't hurt badly. He was conscious and up pretty quick. Didn't appear to be any blood, or anything like that. Its not like laid there for a long time or anything. But you never if he broke a bone or not until they take X-rays.

They needed to have Paul Konerko walk up to Paul Konerko and show Paul Konerko the video of Paul Konerko getting hit in the face by Carl Pavano, standing up, and still going to 1b.

Wish I could hear Hawk!

@MDGonzales

Konerko cut below left eye and swelling. undergoing tests

Why?

Even if you do not like Hawk, for these series he is money and then after his second favorite player next to Catfish got hit you knew it would be television gold.

Well Ozzie isn't coaching anymore, so maybe we do retaliate now instead of just talking about it.

Len & Bob are saying that Peavy has been yelling at Samardja

Good. Dude is a punk b****.

Any of you guys watching on WGN & see Peavy in the dugout???

Somebody for the Cubs is gonna get HURT when he is on the bump. I love having this guy on our team. He's a throwback competitor.

Horrendous ab

No, I mean why are you listening to teh Cubs broadcast?

Beckham seems to be making at least one very hard out per game nowadays

Thought the Sox would rally after PK went down.............not so far!

f***

These moments invite so much unfortunate dumbness. Lets not get so against Samardzjia that we forget this could happen to a Sox pitcher just as easily, surely has.

Also, if a Sox player hit a rocket right back at Samardzjia's head, surely half the crowd there would give a standing O, which would be ugly/dumb also.

Well, here comes the fight and the ejections.

Sox have to throw each pitch at Samarjia (sp).

Good for the Jakemeister, but this does happen everytime someone gets hit. I remember years ago the TV picking up Tim Hudson calling Buerhle a b**** for hitting someone with an 85 MPH heater on the butt.

That was my point. Even at the onset if you like Len and Bob this is all Hawk now.

I like that fan commercial.

That was awesome.

Beckham has been hitting it right at guys the past few weeks.
