Well, my brothers infatuation with Ozzie is because Ozzie told a 3 year old him that he was his favorite fan because he was my brothers favorite player.

 

He also said that he waited 88 years for a championship, despite being 28 years old.

 

Despite playing baseball his entire life, my brother has basically become baseball stupid the past few years.
