First 4 innings, he was getting away with a ton of bad pitches. He sharpened up his slider big time though after the Matsui homer.

Hope this lasts.. this is getting fun to watch.

I know. I'm just glad he pretty much proved you wrong. :)

Ha, apparently Cooper snapped on reporters asking pitch count questions about Sale. Something to the effect of "Pitch counts are for people who have never played the game"

Lol I have no idea why they make him available to reporters.

He's right.

Code Red sighting!

From what it sounds like (totally spitballing here) that he might have been trying to be too careful before that and he actually relaxed afterwards.

Ok. Or you.

Why are they cheering so loud? They are down 5

Last year I would have said something about how Dunn probably just wanted the free pizza.

Those fans...

Hand to the forehead.

Boston getting to Verlander!

No longer unhittable.

Santiago's BB and K don't look bad at all. He's just given up way too many home runs for his peripherals to look good.

Where is all that cheering from Rays fans after that out?

I love Stoney, but Hawk and Wimpy are just awesome

lol Lobaton. You don't run on Tank's arm.

Will Hawk stop with the "haven't overthrown the cut off man" crap? I'm pretty sure we must have had a bad throw to the cut off man at least once.

Yeah, but they roll together when we win...it's not as funny when we're sucking...then Hawk starts acting like a big dick.
