From this point forward, if people are going to discuss Olympic events, please use spoiler tags if the event has NOT yet aired in the US. Thanks all!

I'm still cracking up about this: :lolhitting

Yeah, that was damn good

Can't believe NBC didn't broadcast the opening ceremony live. There was so much hype and so many people wanted to see it. Most just watched on streams.

I would have been what, 2 or 3 this afternoon?

So, anyone watching the opening ceremonies? It appears that Spain lost a bet.

The opening ceremonies were pretty lame. The overall presentation was bland and WAY too much transition time between scenes. it didnt flow at all.

I want to trade lives with Paul McCartney.

Just started watching on the DVR, but it was awesome that they put in the factory from the cover of "Animals" with the pig and briefly played Time, they really jammed a ton in there.

I thought their use of popular music thoughout the show was really great, especially the video montage and fireworks to "Eclipse" near the end. Sir Paul, however, sounded terrible.

I thought the ceremonies were boring and uneventful.

Well...yeah. What do you expect?

Well most of it wasnt great, but they played Eclipse, to bad they couldnt have convinced them to actually perform live.

Ok, so if these olympic athletes are having sex non stop, in an "orgy like atmosphere", according to Hope Solo, then where are the leaked videos/pictures? Of all the beautiful women at these events, and no sex tapes? What.The.Hell.

Amirite?

He didn't look right. He seemed pale and skinny. Maybe age is catching up with him?

I watch McCartney every chance I get. This is the first time I have seen this.

Oh god...women's basketball.

Alex Morgan. Enough Said.

Team USA in the horrible 'Where's Waldo?' uniforms...

Team Columbia is full of a bunch of floppers

Crazy cycling race today. Alexander Vinokourov spoiled the British party, and American Taylor Phinney missed a medal by a few inches.
