southsider2k5
Chicago White Sox @whitesox Omogrosso, who has no major-league experience, will wear uniform No. 48. #WhiteSox
ChiSox_Sonix
Another player coming up from the worst farm system ever? We're doomed!
Jake
Bruney is experienced and could certainly hold down the long man spot. However, I'm fine with this for now to get a look at a talented young arm.
Cali
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 10:50 AM) Hypothetically if Crain hits the DL, this is the current white sox pitching staff: Reed ® Santiago ® OmoGrosso ® Jones ® Thornton Bruney Septimo ® That's 5 in the bullpen with the ®, and the rotation Sale (not a qualified R any more but first year as a starter) Axelrod ® Quintana ® Floyd Peavy 7 rookies out of a 12 man pitching staff, and then Sale thrown in for good measure. So many people on the team are registered trademarks!

GoSox05
@MDGonzales Bruney on DL, Omorgrosso up. Omogrosso's fastball was clocked at 99 mph two weeks ago.
elrockinMT
QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 07:15 PM) Bruney is experienced and could certainly hold down the long man spot. However, I'm fine with this for now to get a look at a talented young arm. I guess we have to be fine with it. But, I never saw that coming with Bruney. He has certainly rebounded from some past shakiness and looked decent the one outing I remember him pitching in. Agree that it is nice to see a rookie with talent getting a look

Andy the Clown
@MDGonzales Bruney on DL, Omorgrosso up. Omogrosso's fastball was clocked at 99 mph two weeks ago. I'm curious about this guy's story. He's already 28, so he's paid his dues. That usually indicates one of two things: 1) no stuff, and/or 2) no control. However, if he has 99mph stuff with his K/BB ratio, what the hell took so long? I want to say 2 Tommy John surgeries and a shoulder problem not that long ago. He's just now getting back to full force with his stuff.
