However, I'm fine with this for now to get a look at a talented young arm.

too many Rookies in the pen, puts more pressure on the Starters to go 7 innings

I guess we have to be fine with it. But, I never saw that coming with Bruney. He has certainly rebounded from some past shakiness and looked decent the one outing I remember him pitching in. Agree that it is nice to see a rookie with talent getting a look

He's already 28, so he's paid his dues. That usually indicates one of two things: 1) no stuff, and/or 2) no control.

 

However, if he has 99mph stuff with his K/BB ratio, what the hell took so long?

Injuries, lots of injuries. I want to say 2 Tommy John surgeries and a shoulder problem not that long ago. He's just now getting back to full force with his stuff.

I feel like Omogrosso has been in our farm forever.

Seriously, holy roster transactions! I don't think we've seen this much internal shuffling in a long time.

I was thinking "GROSS!" When he does something good

 

and "OMG, gross" when he does something bad

FWIW, Crain is now unavailable until at least Sunday, he hopes to avoid DL. per the beat guys.
