SOX GAMETHREAD: TAKING YU DOWN FOR THE 4 COUNT

Yeah, Sox need a legit 4th outfielder down the stretch.

Danks is a very capable 4th OF. Speed, defense, and has looked fine at the plate.

Unfortunately, Jordan isn't a major league hitter.

Wow Jordan Danks that was ugly. I hope De Aza is alright.

Pretty sure Robin will have Orlando Hudson coming out to pitch the bottom of the 8th.

He can't hit. He had a few hits early, but reality is starting to settle in. He can field and pinch run, but you really don't want him at the plate when you really need a hit.

Danks has .296 BA, but a .286 OBS. How does that happen?

Sacrifice fly.

So he was just going to turn it on today and be lights out against better hitters. Gotcha. Quit your crying. The Sox are winning.

Whatever, just ignore everyone else for 3-4 pages who was saying the same things.

I can only imagine all the bad things people will say about Myers if he blows this game (or any game in the future).

Ah, did not think of that. Thank you.

Come on ump

Nice catch Viciedo!

Viciedo came so close to dropping that

Majority of 1b make that play, maybe someone like prince fielder would have botched it and young hit the ball well but really if you consider that a rocket what do you label an actual hard hit line drive.

LOL, are you kidding me? That ball almost sailed right over Rios' head because it was hit with so hard. It was an absolute rope.

And the game we are watching is a GAME. And the team you want to win is WINNING. Yet look at your posts. You would think they are losing by 20 runs and are 20 games out of first place.

Seeing Joe West at 1st just makes me sick.

Joe West would never give us a call.

Of course Joe West doesn't give us the call

Myers got the coolest goatee ever. I always tried growing a goatee like that, but it always ends up too bushy for my liking.

Seeing Joe West at 1st make me feel good about myself.

He went around there for me.

He gawn!

Napoli just got owned in that at bat

Nice slow curve Myers.

Myers looks like Bobby Jenks after about a 30 day fast.
