In 25 years of watching baseball, I've never seen a first baseman flip it to a pitcher from a foot away. What a crazy ending to the game, and a great reaction by Reed to grab it.

Do you realize how much his option is for? If he even ATTEMPTS to close out something like 6 or 16 more games, his $10M option is automatically picked up. That's not something to sneeze at.
