August 11, 201213 yr AJ! Lexi! Tank! & DANKS!!!!! Huge win with the way the Tigers game is going. Gavin battled & kept us in the game & the bullpen did its job.
August 11, 201213 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 10:03 PM) f*** JOHN DANKS, WE LOVE JORDAN4LIFE! I know this. But let's give props to Jordan Danks.

August 11, 201213 yr QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 04:07 AM) I had no expectations when Jordan went up to the plate. I'll take it! Sometimes it's great to see a lefty facing a submarine righty! Very happy for him
August 11, 201213 yr THAT BALL HIT DEEP...REDDICK DIDN'T MOVE! YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD, YES! That's gotta be one of the best HR calls Hawk's done this year.
August 11, 201213 yr Would it be wrong of me to buy a Jordan Danks jersey t-shirt before I bought a John Danks one? Danks has always been my boy... but now he's got competition from the same gene pool!
August 11, 201213 yr QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 09:07 PM) I had no expectations when Jordan went up to the plate. I'll take it! I haven't seen much of Jordan Danks' at bats before tonight, but as I happened to be in front of a tv today I thought he looks a lot like a left handed Jayson Werth frame-wise seconds before he launched the ball at a fan 400+ ft. in the RF seats. I hope he pans out.
August 11, 201213 yr Author Christopher Kamka @ckamka Jordan Danks is first #WhiteSox player whose first career HR is walk-off since Dave Gallagher 5/15/1988
August 11, 201213 yr Saw Jordan Danks in the AFL a few years back. Was surprised how big he is. Built like an NBA player.
August 11, 201213 yr Rangers seem to really be over rated. We whup their ass, and the Tigers do too....
August 11, 201213 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 03:11 AM) Sometimes it's great to see a lefty facing a submarine righty! Very happy for him Nice to see the Sox beat one of those gimmicky submariners. I mean if it was an effective way to pitch, tons of pitchers would do it. Nice to see the Sox beat one of those guys! I'd love to see an Elias stat on Sox against submariners not counting the late Dan Quisenberry.

I mean if it was an effective way to pitch, tons of pitchers would do it. Nice to see the Sox beat one of those guys! I'd love to see an Elias stat on Sox against submariners not counting the late Dan Quisenberry. It is much easier from the other side of the plate.
August 11, 201213 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 03:39 AM) It is much easier from the other side of the plate. I can see that. The ball just comes flipping in daring you to pummel it as Danks did.

Wow, I'm feeling old.
August 11, 201213 yr Author QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 11:07 PM) I didn't know Quisenberry had passed away. Wow, I'm feeling old. One of my favorite baseball memories was Harold Baines hitting a 3 run walk off homer off of him.
August 11, 201213 yr Called his walkoff HR before the inning started. Laughed my ass off when it happened.
August 11, 201213 yr At Ravinia, on my phone I saw "Jor Danks homered to right", I figured it was a typo, lol. Just watched the highlight, he crushed that ball, 10-15 rows deep, amazing. Sox win!
