Dodged a bullet...............walks are becoming a huge problem.

Where did all the Sox fans go?

Saturday night? You would think it was late 2007 or September 2011.

Not close. Rios had it measured all the way. Front of the warning track.

Guy has amazing power...he barely swung and missed a homer by 15 feet

Check Cabrerra's bat (tell your guys to put their loaded ones away first.)

We survived the first. Keep battling lair.

WE CAN SCORE! WE CAN SCORE! WE CAN SCORE!

This should have been a day game.

Stone being critical of Viciedo, great to hear. He's got to make some adjustments against RHP. This offense has a lot of guys who are slumping.

Rios?

The ball that Cabrera hit oppo in the first inning off Liriano.

and no K from the DH spot yet

Tank has all the talent in the world but he is a really dumb hitter.

Aced Peralta with 3 sliders there.

Viciedo really has to learn how to dial down his swing with 2 strikes and just make contact.

This umpire's small strike zone is not what Liriano needs

How does one become a fierce competitor in baseball? Having an angry look on your face and swinging the bat extra hard?

AH-VEE-SAIL

Mini-Cabrera.

You mean like Jake Peavy

We really need Liriano to keep his pitch count down, because I have little confidence in our offense tonight, so more than 2-3 innings could be very dangerous.

Liriano's stuff is not sharp at all so far.

Great first MLB at-bat for a 21 year old.

Which is going to be a problem, because even if he's effectively wild, he's going to be out of the game in 5 innings.

Liriano has no confidence in his fastball, and there's only a 5 mph difference between his fastball and change-up so far.

Or in the bullpen...

Continuing to want to pitch even after parts of your body are visibly falling off (like in Monty Python)?
