Even though he cost the AL the home field advantage, I now don't mind Verlander's 100mph show off at the All Star game as he's fallen down to earth since then.

Yeah, as much as it sucks to lose to KC, every game vs. DET is worth 2 in the standings. Even one more win would have us with a 4 game lead.

Dead arm? He didn't look no where as good as Scherzer last Sun. He was facing a slumping Sox team. He was going into long counts when the Sox hitters let him.
