9/19 White Sox at Royals

Unless the ball actually hits his glove, which it didn't appear it did, that wouldn't be ruled an error anywhere.

But we all know it's a ball that should have been caught.

yeah this is a one and done offense

Having already predicted futility for the season, you're now predicting futility for the playoffs. I admire your consistency.

yeah tough night for tank but he also made some nice catches to be fair

Who plays CF next year?

Definitely not Rios. That's going to be an issue, obviously.

Wait what?? I just got back from rugby, did someone suggest we trade ADA or something??

It glanced off his glove right as he was running into the fence.

He probably took his eye off it for a split second anticipating contact.

By the eyes of many, then Jordan Danks shouldn't ever be a defensive replacement, because he's made two huge errors in LF this season, one in LA, the other a ball he lost that would have been the final out of the game, and we barely survived that one.

That ball with Danks was in the lights.

But anyway, you don't use defensive replacements while trailing.

It's not going to be an error in KC.

We can pick on Viciedo all we want, but in the end, it doesn't matter if you don't score a single run.

End of story.

Which we can also blame Viciedo for.

Viciedo has no one to blame but himself when he's used as a platoon player the rest of the way. Oh, please use Veal against lefties in big spots Robin!

okay vulture gets out of seventh. vulture hungry. get him four runs and win.

Nope.

But if he wants to continue to play LF next year, then we have no CFer. There's no way we put Rios back out there. Unless we make Wise an everyday player, and send Viciedo back to Charlotte. And that will end up with predictable results.

Other than Alex Rios, who showed up to play tonight? And Chris Sale.

Way to battle

De Aza had a nice game offensively.

yep wise should have started tonight .lol

What a pick up Wise has been. He seems like a completely different player than his last time here.

Maybe Olmedo should start tomorrow if Alexei makes an out here.

1/11 with RISP.

Must be the worst in the majors or at least the AL the last 3 weeks or so.

No, he really shouldn't have

Alexei sucks vs Chen. Oh well, it happens. Do we remember what happened last time Olmedo started vs Guthrie? Ramirez just needs to keep his shoulder tucked more, as it's flying out as if it's April for him.

De Aza is a fine centerfielder

Viciedo I am not sure about I know he is young but two hitters that you rely on to drive in runs, he and Ramirez, that give away at-bats via stupidity will hurt this team in the long run.

Alexei and Viciedo just flat out sucked tonight. Manto has some work to do with both guys, as there were obvious mechanical flaws with each tonight.

Huge cut no contact. No concept of putting the bat on the ball. It's just swing hard and hope the ball doesn't move.

Should we treat Tank like Swisher the last month of 08? Bench for Wise?

Except for getting thrown out stealing in the 1st when it would have been a huge confidence boost to score an early run and take the lead against Cy Chen.

I haven't read the thread yet. Are we in good or bad moods tonight during this piss poor game? Ho hum, losing 2 of 3 to KC again is our destiny.

Sox are 3 for last 26 with RISP vs Royals, and only one of those hits scored a run.
