Crow warming in the bullpen. Sox have always hit him well (at least better than the likes of Herrera).

It would seem like Herrera isn't available tonight.

Giavotella's had some huge hits vs the White Sox this year.

Nice inning for Jones, time to get him another win!

Get Nate that win, boys!

s***

12 straight retired, as Sox can't do anything with some massive hangers.

Damn you camera man. I thought that was going to be a double.

13 straight retired on seemingly 30 pitches or so. Sox will get Holland in the 9th I'm sure.

Yawn

Looks like those base running blunders are going to ruin this game for us.

Playoff caliber offense right there for ya.

At least Detroit lost.

I have a feeling we are going to need more than a 2 game lead to hold them off for the division title.

Do we hear what a poor manager Yost is for having a lefty face Jones and not looking at the stats ?

If it were me I would just let Detroit take our place in the playoffs.

LOL. Whoever said momentum doesn't exist in baseball ... the Royals have all the mojo in this game right now. Is this the inning they bust it open? We've seen this game before.

I'm so happy for you that the Royals keep beating the Sox, good for you. It's gotta make up for the "football" that the Jayhawks play.

Bigger issue is the Angels are playing really good baseball right now, and winning that series in Anaheim seems significantly more difficult than the Tigers beating the Twins in a series. Sox just need to find a way to have at least a two game lead heading into next Monday.

Don't get Veal! Splits!!!

Jones recovered nicely after the Butler AB. Would have been a much different appearance if Beckham's throw was anywhere close to home.

It's going to be a sad day for me when he gives up a hit to a lefty.

The Angels are 5-5 in their last 10 games. The Sox are 6-4 in their last 10.

Will it be well-hit or a cheapie?

Last night, I thought they said they had won 15 of their last 20 games (during ESPN broadcast).
