July 16, 201312 yr I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I really like "Orange is the new Black." Halfway through. Sort of like a female version of Oz but less violent and not nearly as dark. I like the use of flashbacks, a la Lost, to explain characters.

Not sure that the story interests me enough to keep watching. Given the talk of Kruger's character, I was expecting her to be really annoying, but she didn't really bother me that much. I guess i'm used to the "focused, driven and emotionally disconnected" detective character from prior tv shows/movies, so despite being a little socially awkward she didn't seem that abnormal to me.
