I still miss the in-game save option for NCAA/Madden football.

Anyone purchase Diablo 3 for console? I'm debating it solely on the fact that I spent countless hours playing Diablo 2 years ago

My roommate got it, and he just beat it literally 5 minutes ago. I created a character and played with him a bit yesterday, it seemed alright but not up to expectations for following up D2.

I can't remember the game, but my roommate had downloaded some free game on PS3 that played almost exactly like D3, just wasn't as in depth (no voices, graphics not quite as good, skills/characters weren't as deep) but I thought he was playing that other game for the first 10 minutes. D3 didn't really fulfill anything for me, instead it just made me miss D2 a lot more.

Well that's quite disappointing

I don't know what they've changed for console D3, but D3 on PC was the second biggest gaming disappointment of all time for me (Spore is first).

The action is very good, but the story is horrendous, character building is boring, and the loot is awful.

NHL '14 tomorrow. GTA 5 in 8 days.

Sony announces PS Vita TV. If they can get the PS4 streaming part of it done well enough, this will be so worth the $100. Check this out...

You can now play PS Vita games, AND use your PS4 on ANY TV in your house, AND turn your TV in to a smart TV for $100. And best part is you never have to own a PS Vita. Hell, I've never owned a handheld gaming device since my Gameboy color like 15 years ago. But now I will have the chance to not only have a PS4 in a second room in my house, but I can buy a PS Vita game and play it on a full screen TV without even owning a Vita. I'd throw $100 at that s***.

I was going to buy Madden 25 Anniversary Edition to get the DirectTV streaming, but they're sold out. Oh well, I save 100 bucks and get to deal with s***ty bootleg streams

So apparently when you preorder a game from Toys R Us, you are FORCED to have the game shipped to you. If you wait until the release day, you can walk over to your local store and grab it.

So I am 1 mile away from Toys R Us right now, yet I have to wait an estimated 7 to 10 days to get my copy of NHL '14, which comes out tomorrow. They would rather pay for the shipping themselves (Free shipping), than have me just go to the store and grab it. God damnit Toys R Us.

Also lets you use Netflix and Hulu like other devices.

The Ouya is f***ed.

Holy f***, why do you shop at Toys R Us?

Why do people EVER pre-order games anymore, also? I've never, in the last 5 years, had any issue with getting any new game that came out.

I've only had trouble ever finding one game, and that was Kingdoms of Amalur, which, as you'll remember, is Curt Schilling's abortion but is overall a pretty fun game otherwise.

I just tend to log onto best buy sometime that AM and purchase whatever I want for in-store pickup.

I'm debating NHL, but might as well wait because Madden owns my soul right now anyway.

The Ouya has a lot of bad things going on right now, their crowd funding got suspended due to suspected donation fraud

I pre-order through Amazon. They get delivered by the time I get home from work on the day of the release and they all have some kind of pre-order bonus. Usually add-ons that I don't care about that much, but sometimes you get 10 or 15 bucks in credit towards a future purchase. Either way, I get something for free and I don't have to deal with dumb 18-20 year old cashiers.

Also, I have yet to see Microsoft do anything to distinguish the One from the PS4. When I buy a new system, I know what I'm getting

What? You don't like the all-seeing eye?

I don't shop at Toys R Us. I made this particular preorder because I was able to save $30 on the game by doing so.

I'm afraid I don't, Jake

Arkham City is/was $10 on XBox Live. Yes I bought it.

For anyone who is buying GTA 5 on the PSN, they are offering the game for download at 3 a.m EST on Monday, or about 21-22 hours early.

It's tempting, but I gotstohave a physical copy of my games if I can.

Agreed.

Im liking NHL 14 so far. The hitting is a little unrealistic but its fun.

Im getting anxious for GTA now that its so close. I cant wait till the online play opens up at the end of the month either. After reading that article chili posted a little while back about it, it seems like its gonna be incredible.

I actually think they've changed it so the online part will be released on Tuesday as well. Probably a giant download for it, but I think it's good to go on launch day.
