Right, but it's 4th down, so possession doesn't actually have to change for PIT to get the ball. They are still improving their field position.

But the penalty was because it was behind the los. If we're going to flip what advancing counts as based on potential possession, then what counts as agreed of or behind the los should change too.

Well at least Pittsburg has responded really well

Unless Stafford throws a pick 6.

U DON'T SAY :)

Giants tie it!

Big Ben just had to throw a pick with a 10 point lead...sigh.

Clearly this is a very odd loophole in the rule, but once the referees missed the fact that the Steelers had gained possession, the rule was applied appropriately.

On a 4th down play, the defense is not allowed to bat a loose ball forwards because it could impact whether or not possession changes.

Even though it's Week 16, this has the feeling of the last regular season day in MLB a few years ago.

Giants had a great opportunity to end it there.

They might be better off with Stafford throwing the ball than Eli.

Come on Eli, stop sucking.

O ELI :(

f*** you Eli.

Now the Packers tie it.

Why is a game at GB on cbs anyways. Thought they had the afc contract.

The Steelers are playing.

Seahawks lose at home.

I don't think Brown fumbled that. It looked like the ground caused that fumble.

I figured the home team would where the rights would go to.

Cards D was stifling. That and stupid penalties and that's how you beat the Seahawks at home.

Another bad call, jesus christ. Now in Detroit

OMG Giants, why are you so bad?

The ground clearly caused that fumble.

f***. Had they called that down by contact, it wouldn't have been overturned. No indisputable evidence either way.
