Hub Arkush is really bitter about the demise of his magazine. They asked him if the Ravens would be good this year, he asid they weren't good last year they just got hot. Then someone said that they like the Seahawks. Hub said a lot of people love the Seahawks, they need to study more. Then he said they were a good football team. So a team he said was no good last year won the SB, and he is ripping guys for liking a team he said is good. Of course he just laughed off the Bears. He would laugh off the Bears if the had the current day equivalent of the 1985 team.

I don't necessarily disagree with him about the Ravens. They did get hot at the right time and needed an opposing safety to make one of the dumbest plays ever. They won the Super Bowl and that's all that matters in the end, but he has a point.

Hub made an article admitting he was wrong about Kyle Kong but the entire thing was loaded with backhanded compliments, which is normal for him

I looked up from my phone and was seriously impressed by how bad that woman's lip syncing was.

I realize I'm in the minority but I don't really give a s*** that the Ravens have to play on the road. That's not the Orioles' problem but everybody's acting like they owe the Ravens something. And Ravens fans can't really come up with a better justification for forcing the Orioles to move their game other than "baseball sucks."

The Broncos looked so effortless last night.

Ravens, Flacco specifically, really helped to give that game away. The Broncos offense looks good, but the defense may have some issues.

Flacco looked terrible. He was lazy with his throws, not setting his feet and just generally not playing good football.

Joe Flacco just isn't that good.

 

And the Broncos defense should obviously improve a ton once Miller gets back out there.
