Let's review that inning. Ground out, walk, weak grounder on hit and run for a single, weak ground out that scores a run, softly hit liner to center that should have been caught, smoked double by Gordon, and then a ground out

Yeah 5 line shots in a row

Well, I was speaking in the abstract (this is the type of thing Floyd tends to do) and definitely exaggerating. But the Royals made plenty of hard contact that inning, and Floyd left q few flat fastballs where he shouldn't have.

Single is good enough :)

I turned on the game last inning when the Royals had just a runner on 1st and it was a 0-0 game...

Uh....what was that?

What happened?

Keppinger's striking out way too much for my liking.

Anyone want to fill us in?

You know, since he came in to the league in 2004, the only person to strike out less frequently than Jeff Keppinger was Juan Pierre.

Kepp has a 6.4% K-rate. He walks more often than he strikes out. He struck out only twice in spring training.

HE HAS STRUCK OUT IN TWO STRAIGHT GAMES NOW. BURN IT DOWN.

Alexei might have range and a good arm
