I'm not sure Free Mondays would do the trick either at this point.

Casual fans could care less already for this mess.

Know what I miss about Swisher? Nothing.

How did Keppinger get on base?

Was it a clean single/line drive?

With Dunn hitting 4th, no opposing pitcher will give Rios anything decent to hit.

It's almost like the Mike Stanton Experience in Miami.

Kepp got in. Not hit terribly hard...infield single and a throwing error by Kipnis

Ball hit near the middle, Kipnis fielded it, but threw it WAY over the first baseman's head. Home call 'base hit'

Yep. Marquez, Nunez, and Betimit really took this team over the top!

This is the worst 6-9 in a White Sox line-up I can remember, with the possible exception of some of Ozzie's Sunday Specials.

I almost miss the days of Mark Johnson and Royce Clayton at the bottom of the order. Almost.

I'd still take him. Buying high and selling low after 1 down year was just awful.

Betemit went on to have a decent career after that...Nunez only had an interesting spelling of his first name.

But the comparisons with Marquez to Jon Garland or even Greg Maddux were pretty laughable.

Of course, Molina and Zach Stewart were hyped up too when they were acquired...even Simon Castro, a little bit.

He had the gall to be loose, have fun and be white in the clubhouse of Ozzie Guillen. That's a death sentence. One of Kenny's worst trades ever. 2008 was an down year aberration for Swisher.

that part.

I enjoy hawk ignoring the run expectancy graphic.

It's easier if we blame it on Ozzie's ego, rather than KW not doing enough due diligence (see the Molina acquisition), and not anticipating easily foreseeable chemistry/clubhouse issues with those 2.

Trying to fit him into the CF hole/lead-off hole was also pretty much insane.

you didn't think some (a lot) of that act was phony? Sure seems like AJ and PK and some others thought so. As for that trade, we can agree. Horrible.

This. And anyone who knew what BABIP is knew this.

Also, trading Vazquez was bad.

De AZA just a terrible angle my gosh.

Awesome D yo!

2 bloops a walk and a tight strike zone.
