Santiago can fill that starter spot, but the injuries are really adding up now. 4 key players out if this is anything serious for Floyd. I wonder if it's the same elbow issue Gavin had towards the end of last season??

Word. I'm a fan of Santiago, but despite Gavin's ups and downs he still provides significant value year in and year out. Also the whole trade value thing if it's anything serious.

Santiago not lookin' good.

Why in God's name is DeAza missing the cutoff man?

Geez.

Our fundamentals are just terrible this season, compared to the first 4 1/2 months last year.

Tough situation to come into. Hawk was dead on about trying to get ready too fast.

Do not think this is going to be the Sox night.

Well he did have to warm up in a hurry...

Not an easy situation to just be thrown into the game with no time to prepare mentally.

We'll see if he can get straightened out as he goes along.

As it is, we'll have a hard time just scratching a hit against Moore with this line-up.

lol Hawk. Well done on the game summary there.

Oh here we go, another one of Hawk's sabermetrics rants.

Didn't last long :)

Heart and soul of the game is amateur scouts, according to Hawk

Good at bat by Danks, but nothing to show for it.

With the way David Price dominates lefties, the Sox better find a way to get more righties in the lineup tomorrow. I'd be fine with Gimenez catching and Flowers at DH with Dunn sitting.

Looks to be a flexor strain for Gavin, according to Farmer.

Sounds like a 15 day DL trip.

Damn, that was a nice play.

Same thing he had last year, right?

White Sox baseball....

"Right Price, Right Team"

Goes along with the Wendy's Extra Value campaign, since they're promoting the deep season ticket discounts so much in the early going.

why hit Molina? Hit Longoria.

Why hit anyone?

Does anyone really buy his notion that the Sox are great talent evaluators/developers?

Why hit anyone?

I was only joking

Pitching has been good. It's hard to be worse with their offensive evaluations.

Embarrassing effort from the bats so far.

At least tehre's no postgame show.
