Cubs vs Sox 1:20 PM

Featured Replies

Danks is 3-1 with a 2.3ish ERA career-wise against the Cubs in 6 starts.

That's his first homer allowed in 3+ starts at Wrigley.

He was awesome there last year. I was at the game. Beckham and Flowers went very deep.

Didnt Flowers hit it out of the park that game?

Cubs 2 runs 2 hits. Sox 1 run 4 hits, a stolen base, a perfectly executed hit and run , a perfect sac bunt. Rios, Dunn and De Aza all failing with RISP. Flowers comes through.

Did Feldman figure something out, because he used to be a pretty bad pitcher

Dunn back to his ole ways. Sox can't afford him and his streakiness.

We're another couple of weeks from Dunn/2011 at this rate.

Amazingly, his average is actually lower than the .159 he put up then, but he's been more productive with homers and RBI's at least.

Yeah. It's much easier to pitch in the NL than in Arlington.

Its hard to watch him hit. He looks nothing like he did in his Reds days.

Didn't realize Jean Segura was leading the NL with a .365 average.

Unfortunately, we don't have a Zach Greinke available to trade in order to get his equivalent.

Good change-up there in that inning, pulling the string, Danks has now set down 5 in a row. 1 ER in 3 IP isn't too bad with the weather heating up and wind blowing out.

I know people go through slumps but for him, slumps are a norm and him hitting is the equivalent of an average hitter having a slump.

I abhor these Miller 64 commercials. Doesn't matter if it's tv or radio- it's awful.

Alright guys, same formula this time around with less outs and more runs!

This ump has a weird strike zone

Seriously Dayan?

Looked high.

Moreland and Hughes saying Feldman doesn't have very good stuff today, but battling through it.

Don't need to battle too hard with this White Sox offense.

God damn Danks....

awesome

What a f***ing joke

LMAO

Same pitch in the same damn location as the last one.

Edited by pettie4sox

floated another one right over the plate

You can't pitch without command up in the strike zone...and not get killed in the summer months in Chicago.

Change-up with very poor location.

2nd homer of the day, 5th of year....3 of 10 RBI's today, lol.

Cue new thread by a certain poster about John Danks being a horrible contract extension and how KW should be fired.
