Correction, that was 4 in a row for the Astros over the Angels, SWEPT in LA.

 

This has to be the end of Scioscia...or he will serve out the season no matter what.

I'm sure you do. But "pathetic" and anything to do with PK don't belong in the same sentence. I thought Konerko was done in '08. He was a consistent .900 OPS guy from '09 to '12 at ages where he shoudl've been in decline. It's no surprise at all that's he's FINALLY slowing down.

I really want to be at the point of rooting for losses (thus, a better draft position), but with the Sox still only a week's worth of game's back, it's hard to not root for a comeback when the season isn't even halfway over.

Though the star right-hander (King Felix) allowed four runs in 6 1-3 innings to drop to 0-2 with a 6.50 ERA in his last three starts - all on the road - versus Chicago (24-31), he's 2-0 with a 2.17 ERA in five against the White Sox at Safeco Field. Hernandez has not faced them there since 2011, but he's yielded two runs and 13 hits and struck out 24 while going 1-0 in the last three home outings.
