lol that is the exact thing I thought about when he hit it

You can tell Hawk is so happy Phegley is up.

Phegley's swing looks a little bit like Quentin's did.

Now we have TWO guys over .330 :D :D :D

Phegley & Beck = the FUTURE

If this is the real Josh Phegley, then that's one less hole we'll have to fill this offseason. Hopefully he can keep this going, because he's been nothing short of incredible with the bat all year.

The Cubs already won the crosstown cup... this game is for both teams to showcase their players. Let the Fire sale begin. Time to move in a new direction...

I know fast starts don't last, but I have to question the talent evaluation of the Sox scouts and Hahn. Phegley sat at AAA while Flowers wilted under the pressure. It seems Hahn and the coaching staff were bound and determined to play Flowers until it became obvious to even them that he didn't have what it takes.

With the good...

That looks familiar

They wanted to give Flowers a chance. It was a high risk, high reward type situation, especially when they didn't bring in a veteran back-up.

Nice call ump

There was a screwball. To Barney. Stone speechless because he doesn't know what it is.

Real poor defensive inning for Phegley. Still better than Flowers.

fathom are you implying Phegley is juicing with the Armstrong comment?

I took it coming back from sickness.

No no, not at all. More that he's a superstar who's had to overcome a huge illness.

Yep, in response to your Bonds comment
