Sale going to need to throw a shut out with this line up

What's new?

Could the 83 uniforms be out tonight because Sale wanted to wear them in his last home start of the season?

Didn't need to last game....

Interesting to see Garcia in CF even with Danks in the lineup.

Great AB by Garcia to lead the game off....really good speed aboard

Good at-bat by Leury.

little shank job by keppinger bases juiced for Dunn

Dunn with a clutch strike out

LOL. A walk and three hits: 1 run.

Sale is fun.

Good throw, no dice.

Thought he was out. As for the first inning, Avi has to learn how to elevate the ball.

That's what I was saying a couple days ago. His pull swing is so down, and his opposite field approach is to flick the ball over 2B. He is showing no indications in his approach that he will even hit 15 HR a season right now.

1st ball I've seen him pull and it was into the DP.

Yep, at this point, he's shown no ability to get loft from his swing. I don't think he'll ever be more than 20 home run guy, but he should be able to hit a lot of gappers. Something that I've noticed is that when he swings hard and lets it loose, he struggles mightily to make contact.

He's had a few doubles on liners down the LF line

And that routine grounder that he beat out was to SS. He's actually spread it around pretty well, but most of his hits have been over the 2B's head.

Chris Sale is the reason the Sox are in a better position than the Cubs.

Or up the middle

Travis. Wood.

If Ventura snoozes on Sale's pitch count, he could strike out 20 tonight. The Astros are terrible.

That's only for games at the Cell. The doubles were in Minnesota.

You can pull the chart for Minnesota
