Don't ask me. So disappointing down the stretch. That said, that disappointment can turn with a good showing here on out. They clearly have the talent.

They can't win close games and really have a tough time shooting 3s. I don't know what is going on with Aaron White. He disappears for long stretches. This is the first year under Fran the Hawks didn't significantly improve as the season went on. Hopefully it isn't a new trend.

And hopefully Fran's 13 year old son will be OK.

Guess who was the first major conference team to get eliminated from their conference tournament???

When do those CBI brackets come out?

Terrible. Best wishes to the McCaffery's and their son.

Lots of highs and lows this year.

His oldest son was starting as a freshman PG at Iowa City West...not sure if they will end up winning the state championship or not, but they're one of the two co-favorites from what I understand.

Season has taken a turn for the worse....some blame it on the defense/coaching, some on Zach McCabe and Twittergate, some on the beam collapsing in Bloomington and forcing them to play 4 games in 8 days, using too many players in their rotations, Marble trying to score too much and not distributing the ball like he did earlier in the season, the lack of consistent outside shooting, etc. Maybe winning at Ohio State bumped up the expectations to the point where the players got overconfident, as well as routing Michigan at home. Many theories.

Barring some absolutely absurd Big East tourney run, I assume Purnell is gone after this year. Who do you think DePaul will go after/who do you think it should go after?

I think they already said he will be back.

That just seems silly.

Brian, remember early in the season when you said Ohio may not have a team in the tourney? Looks like Indiana is actually the one shut out.

Adams from Wyoming, wow.

We're a soccer state now. Basketball is so last century.

Just as good.

Illinois is proudly a tennis and golf school now.

I'd toss in volleyball too.

Zona Ucla was excellent.

Agreed. That was a high level game.

Well take Providence off the bubble.

Watch the committee put Witchita St in the same region as Duke and Michigan State. ESPN says Louisville could be a 3 and have them in the Midwest as well.

MSU is the team that would really give them fits. Obviously Duke or Louisville is going to be a tough game for anybody but they matchup just fine with either of them.

I hope NC State gets left out just cause of what coach K said last night.

espn.com Sunday morning Bracketology:

South: 1 Florida, 2 Kansas, 3 Syracuse, 4 Creighton

West: 1 Arizona, 2 Wisconsin, 3 Iowa State, 4 San Diego State

Midwest: 1 Wichita State, 2 Duke, 3 Louisville, 4 Michigan State

South: 1 Michigan, 2 Villanova, 3 Virginia, 4 UCLA

So yeah, if this ends up being it, the committee has essentially said, "Nice undefeated run Wichita, but f*** you!"

That would be ridiculous and I may even get a Shocker shirt and fully pull for them behind the Wolverines.

Ryan Harrow is crazy.

The ULL-Georgia State game is out of control. Fun stuff.
