I think there are more people in this gamethread than are in the bleachers

There is now. So what's happening? Since we cancelled cable and didn't buy a mlb.com subscription, my sanity is somewhat intact.

I wanted to trade Reed in July but I am starting to doubt how much value he really has and with a marginal return is it really worth it?

Veterans are easier to move.

Q gets the win.

Twins go to Oakland for 4, then finish at home with Detroit for 3 and Cleveland for 4.

Cubs have two more at Milwaukee, 3 at home vs Braves and Pirates, and 3 at Cardinals.

5th spot wouldn't be so bad, but I'd rather be 3rd.

Semien's still hitting 340ish. DeAza back up to .265 or so. Addison Reed with another save.

Yep. If the Sox win tonight, our magic number stays 9, and the Cubs will be 14.

Heck, the Sox could drop to 5th.

Sox are still "3 games up" on the Cubs for the 3rd pick. Sox have 11 games left. 5-6 probably gets them pick #3.
