Is it safe to assume that everyone here has discovered Rick and Morty by now?

I would be looking forward to it more if were a full season of 13 shows rather than 7 now and 7 next year. I'm sure they'll be good shows though.

I have tempered enthusiasm about it. I love the show, but it's gotten pretty slow and I feel like last season it was going over the same themes (and plotlines) that we saw in seasons 1-3.

yeah, I stopped watching. And the "that people never change is the point!" doesn't do it for me 6 seasons in.

I am finally getting caught up on Helix on Syfy (still 3 more to watch). I really like this show!!

That car scene in Parenthood this week was strong.

Yeah, it was. Could barely grab the remote to fast forward through the next commercial after that.

Sirens is ok. I see a lot of Scrubs in it.

Oh man. I thought last season was tremendous. I can't wait for it to start.

Sirens is ok. I see a lot of Scrubs in it.

 

The 3rd episode of Sirens, the one about computer porn, was excellent. The 4th one was awful. The first 2 were decent.

 

One thing I did notice is that there are a ton of Bears references, a few Hawks, a few Bulls, a large amount of Cubs, and not a single mention or breathe of the word "Sox" has been said.

Walking Dead season finale tonight. Been hearing some things about Terminus and the episode that could make this really good.

 

My guess (spoilers)

is that the show is making Terminus a substitute location for the cannibals.

. If I'm right, and it's done correctly, this could be a great episode.

They do this every year. Good finale, then good premiere the following season. Every episode in between is just trash.

Finally, the last ever episode of HIMYM tonight.

I thought this was the best season of The Walking Dead yet.

I thought TWD sucked last night. VERY slow, and the flashbacks didn't really add much. Great, Rick wanted to become a farmer so he and Carl stop being so cold-blooded/barbaric, but zombies and other humans trying to kill them keep causing him to act that way. Haven't we been down this road before? What's so interesting about that?

 

They've had more "explosive" finales in the past, and I guess I kept expecting more to happen and nothing really did. Overall I agree that the last half of this season was the best of the series. They're finally trying to add emotional weight to the characters, but unfortunately all of the characters suck.

It's baffling seeing how many people here think so many shows are so terrible yet continue to watch and comment on them week after week.
