On March 1st weekend there was an ice storm in Missouri on our way back from a film festival. I-70 to St. Louis was terrifying, tons of accumulation on the roads, cars all over the side of the road. White knuckle driving.

 

Then, of course, we get on the Illinois side and suddenly the roads are salted and plowed and we could drive normally. That's one thing this damn state gets right.

yay stuck behind a tractor trailer this morning that shouldnt have been driving on Boncosky road, and got stuck trying to make the turn onto Sleepy Hollow.

 

Yay for being 20 minutes late to work

 

Also yay for the moron cops that showed up

Remember this now, but it's supposed to be in the 60's all three days in Denver in two weeks when the Sox are there.

 

Next Monday in Chicago- a couple of showers, high 58. Wed- 53, Thursday-43

The thread that won't die. Even saw snow down here this morning.

First time in Chicago history that one day has seen a high temp of 60 degrees AND at least half an inch of snow.
