Followed closely by the "CMU is the best team in Michigan" talk.

Props to Oregon, I thought they were dead in the water when they got down. They kind of exorcised their Stanford demons.

But I had MSU +12.5, so boo that last touchdown

Except Michigan State won the Rose Bowl 8 months ago and no other Illinois team went bowling.

Unlike previous games they stuck with it and adjusted. Previously with Kelly he folded like a lawn chair. This MSU defense is rebuilding though.

Yeah, we don't know how good MSU is this year, but in the past when Stanford hit them once, they collapsed.

Exactly. MSU last year was probably in it, they don't recruit well enough to reload.

Doubt Michigan beats either MSU or OSU. I'd guess that'd be it for Hoke but who do you hire and Hoke had a solid class coming in?

Luckily we got you at the end of the year. Right now Gardner would torch us.

Looks like we are going with all freshman. Whatever. Prepare for next year.

Doubt it. It'd be a coin flip to which Devin shows.

Man. I was really lucky not to see rebuilding right away, but it's happening right now. And it sucks a bit.

JT Barrett has no clue how to throw the ball down field. It's surprising he only has two interceptions

It's not him, it's the line.

We graduated 4 starters of which 3 may be starting in the NFL.

Barrett just wow

Ah s***. It was closer than the score but bad play by a young team. I guess it's the conference title goal now.

Barrett just wow

And then the receiver f***s him. Corey Smith was terrible. Cripple fight in the Big Ten

35 straight home opener wins broken. Urbans streak broken. Ouch.

You'll like this

@11W: Per @Johnny_Detroit, this is the first loss for Ohio State as double-digit home favs since 2007 (-14.5 & lost 28-21 to Illinois).

I forgot how much football season makes me drink. Then comes hockey. s***.

The Big 10 is a freaking joke. The entire conference is basically eliminated from playoff contention tonight and rightfully so. There isn't a team in this conference that is a top 10 team in America, let alone top 4.

Agreed this year it's bad. 2015 though I think It's much better.

Unfortunately Hoke won't be fired and Michigan will continue to underachieve.

SIU is the best team in Illinois.

Really obscure officiating question: If you bothered to watch to the very end of the ND-UM game, on the last play, ND intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown. However, during the return, ND got a personal foul penalty. The officials ruled that, because "the game can't end on a defensive penalty", ND was penalized 15 yards from the spot and awarded an untimed down from that spot.

So, while it mattered absolutely zero in this situation because of the score, that doesn't really seem like a fair rule in that case. Once ND intercepts the ball, they are really the offensive team and no longer the defensive team. If they committed a penalty during an interception return, it seems like it should just be the end of the game, just like if the offense had committed a penalty on the last play. Maybe these officials just applied the rule incorrectly, but if not, then the rule probably should be changed. It would really suck to lose a game that way.
