I didn't get to see EJ much last year. Is this pretty much how he looked? Fastball relatively flat in the low 90's, lots of speed variation with moderate control?

Jose needs to learn now to swing at the off speed pitch outside the zone

Yeah, he needs to get that 88 mph slider closer to the plate to get more swings at it. He's shown decent command of the fastball from side to side, but not up/down.
