May 31, 201411 yr If he is cleared to return he should. No reason to miss the entire season just because.
May 31, 201411 yr QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 31, 2014 -> 12:40 PM) If he is cleared to return he should. No reason to miss the entire season just because. It didn't sound like anyone believed he'd be cleared but him.
May 31, 201411 yr QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 31, 2014 -> 01:22 PM) It didn't sound like anyone believed he'd be cleared but him. There not going to put a player back on the field before he is medically cleared. The benefit of coming back this season is he has that hurdle crossed for the off-season.
June 1, 201411 yr QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 31, 2014 -> 12:40 PM) If he is cleared to return he should. No reason to miss the entire season just because. It's possible but remote the he could be cleared. It's a 3-6 month rehab for the everyday person. This puts it in Sept or Oct. With the stress he'll have on it the rehab will probably be towards the conservative end. If he is ready, no reason not to play him.
June 2, 201411 yr It would be nice if he could get some in AB's in the AFL or DWL to try and get some timing back before spring training next season, perhaps even a late season minor league rehab assignment if he is ready ahead of schedule, but I dont see anyway he should be back on the ML roster this season.
June 2, 201411 yr QUOTE (Dunt @ Jun 1, 2014 -> 02:23 PM) I want a hummer from Kate Upton, but I need to be realistic as well Important post.

Told today he's still out for season. http://bit.ly/1oby7nF I am looking forward to a 100% healthy Avisail in 2015, no reason to play again in 2014.

June 15, 201411 yr Avisail Garcia - OF - White Sox Avisail Garcia (shoulder) played long-toss from about 200 feet Sunday. Garcia won't play this season after having surgery in mid-April to repair a torn labrum and avulsion fracture in his left shoulder, but it sounds like his recovery is going well. The 23-year-old remains an intriguing long-term fantasy option. Per rotoworld.com Edited June 15, 201411 yr by Bigsoxhurt35
