Wow, really? Scully is one of the few popular things I find NOT to be overrated, lol.

 

It's a really refreshing pace, I think. And his voice is great, and he always seems to be in a good mood.

MLB Network talks about Hawk all the time. I think Hawk is one of the more well known announcers out there

Nah. Places like ESPN and Deadspin.com are constantly mentioning Hawk. Theres a reason for that(mainly being ridiculous), and hes become the idendity of the Sox. No New York announcers can come close to saying that.

There's no doubt Hawk is among the most well-known announcers -- but he's almost universally hated and/or mocked.

Viciedo looks awful, it's not even that he's getting himself out on bad pitches anymore, it's that he's fouling off and grounding out good pitches to hit. The key to his rebounding will be if he can stay mentally committed to his new approach while scuffling.

He's a platoon player imo, a very good one, but he shouldn't be facing lhp if possible.
