I predicted he wouldn't be back this year - happy to be (probably) wrong on that one.

Wow! Awesome. I was genuinely upset about seeing Avi go down I thought for sure we wouldn't see him until 2015. That we might get 30 more games out of him is amazing.

Wow. I figured they would be aiming more towards Sept 1 for Garcia, so as to protect a roster spot.

I suppose it's possible they keep him there for a month if they start slipping and show no signs of competing in the slightest.

The team definitely would not like losing Sierra to AAA

Rehab stints can only last 20 days for position players. If they wanted to keep him in AAA, they would actually have to option him there.
